I wish that I could do it all.
I really do.
I wish I could be everywhere that I am needed and wanted. I wish I could clean everything that needs to be cleaned and prune everything that needs to be pruned. I wish I could answer every call, hold every hand, wipe every tear, rescue every animal.
I wish that I could serve in every place that the church could use help. I wish that I could help at my son’s school every time that they needed something. I wish that I could go on every mission trip and feed every homeless person in Atlanta. But…I can’t. If I could then I guess I would be perfect and since I am not dead yet, I am not perfect.
Until I am perfect, I will rely on God to equip me to do what He wants me to do. If I am not equipped and able, then I pray for peace to accept that it is not the will of My Father for me to do it all at this time.
“I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me…And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:13,19
