Jodianne became a born again believer at the age of 17 when she left the Jehovah’s Witness cult in which she was born and raised. She is the first Christian in her family in at least three generations. It wasn’t until she was 17 that she looked beyond the walls of her religion, when members of a counter-cult ministry reached out to her and opened her eyes to the truth of who Jesus Christ is.
Jodianne has been happily married to Chad, her first sweetheart, since 1991 and is the proud mother of four amazing children who she has home schooled for over 12 years. She led the Women’s Ministry at Cobb Vineyard Church in Kennesaw, Ga from 2002 to 2011 but had been part of the Women’s Ministry team since 1997. Her family has been members of this church since 1996. Currently, she serves as Team Director for the Sunday Morning Drama Team, AKA “The Skittles.”
Jodianne’s first speaking engagement came in 1996 whe she shared her testimony at a retreat for her church. This was the first time she felt God moving her toward public speaking. Since then, she has spoken at numerous retreats and women’s events for her church. In 2007, she began speaking beyond the walls of CVC. She is a 2008 graduate, and 2009 and 2010 alumni of the Proverbs 31 Ministries “She Speaks” speakers and writers conference.
Jodianne’s goal in speaking is to have women open their Bibles and feel that God is speaking directly to them. Her mission is to leave women desiring to get into a groove of following after God. Through Jodianne’s down-right honesty, women are able to see God’s truths through her colorful life lessons that usually come out of some strange, often humorous situation in which she finds herself. She is authentic. She grabs a hold of the audience through humor and incredible storytelling and then solidifies her teaching with solid Biblical truths.
Jodianne’s goal as a dramatist is to speak of God’s truths, His love and compassion through situation comedy and drama that draws people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
